PROJECT LAM-LAM (THIÈS)

Aproximately 1,4 million tn of phosphate rock have been extracted from the mine since 2009.

The deposit is divided into two lenses, North Lentilla and South Lentilla. The North Lentillais the one with higher current reserves, concentrating approximately 95% of the reserves. Both lenses are exploited as open-pit mines.

Phosphate rock extraction started in 2009, to be sold in the international markets.

Survey results in this area confirmed the presence of the phosphate

layer with over 32% P205.

PROJECT BAÏTI

The area covered is located in the Thiès region, about 29km from Thiès and 80km from Dakar .

A 10,000 hectares phosphate rock exploration license which was granted to Sephos by decree 005964/MMIAPME/DMG of May 16th 2011 and renovated by decree 15342/MIM/DMG of October 7th2014 for a period of three years.

In the same perimeter, another permit had been previously granted by the Government to Industries Chimiques du Senegal (hereinafter “ICS”), which created a conflict of ownership over 50% of the total area under the permit.

Based on the samples obtained from the third drilling phase, a deposit on the North of the perimeter with reserves of approximately twenty million tonnes of phosphate rock.

PROJECT NIAKHENE

Sephos holds an authorisation of a prospection permit between the

regions of Thies and Louga, at around 145 km from Dakar.

The prospect permit covers an area of 60,000 hectares

The work performed on the permit area has revealed three prospects with a total potential area of 19,000 hectares and estimated reserves of seven million tonnes of phosphate rock.

Four phosphate rock qualities have been identified according to P2O5 content in brut:

Q1: P2O5>27%

Q2: 24<P2O5≤27%

Q3: 20<P2O5≤24%

Q4: 15<P2O5≤20%

We will invest about 4 million euros in a froth flotation facility in the mines of Baiti and Niakhene, for mineral enrichment up to 32% P2O5 (in 2018)
